Sleepy bunny

I crocheted an amigurumi bunny for Anechka, and now it sleeps with her in bed.

Elephant

I crocheted an amigurumi elephant following instructions from the internet. I put wire in his ears, and he holds a little bell with his trunk.

Barbie Sydney Opera House

Today I bought a beautiful collectible Barbie Sydney Opera House doll in a lovely outfit styled after the famous building.

Beach set for a doll

While we’re in the hospital, I crocheted a newborn set—a little swimsuit and hat, as if he’s going on vacation to the sea.

Paper crafts

Masha and I ended up in the hospital. To liven up the monotony of the ward and keep ourselves occupied, we made kusudama, paper snowflakes, and origami figures.

Plisse bracelet and butterfly hair clips.

I braided a bracelet today from ribbon and large beads. I also made two butterfly hair clips from ribbon and beads.

Necklace

I learned another interesting technique today – I wove a floral necklace from wire, and filled the petals with nail polish. It turned out very delicate.

Sundress and necklace for Peggy.

I dressed up another Tonner doll today – Peggy. Her rather revealing outfit didn’t really fit the overall dress code of the display window. I sewed a sundress for Peggy from lightweight fabric, picked out a hat to match, and made her a beaded necklace.

Blue beaded hyacinths

Made a hyacinth out of beads for my mother, following a pattern from the internet.
