Skipper for King’s Day

Today is a big holiday in the Netherlands—the King’s birthday. For this occasion, all the Dutch, young and old, sell various unwanted things on the streets. At one of these impromptu flea markets, we bought a vintage Skipper; it’s impossible to identify it now. Her condition is not much better either. But I just wanted to buy this charming little thing for a ridiculously low price – 1 euro.

Christ is Risen!

I will offer our Easter decorations for home decor. Mostly these are paper cutouts, as well as polystyrene Easter eggs decorated with ribbons, rhinestones, buttons, and sequins.

Anya’s creatures made of chenillle wire.

I’ll show you Anya’s crafts – an ostrich and a bunny made from floral wire – they turned out to be very original and cute little animals.

Anya’s crafts

Anya’s Project Catwalk club has ended. I present the results of her work—a summer dress, a ball clutch, and a felt teddy bear. The crocheted bag is not finished yet, I’ll show it later.

Happy birthday to me!

To celebrate this holiday, my dear husband gave me an anniversary 50th Tonner Doll Precarious Think Pink. She is very beautiful, though she actually arrived in a box as a Basic ozmopolitan doll. But the seller added a feather skirt with a ribbon belt and a white fur collar from some other Tonner doll to it.

Ribbon embroidered postcard

In preparation for the birthday, I embroidered a small card with roses using лен (linen thread). I really enjoyed embroidering these flowers, the technique is quite unusual, interesting, and not difficult.
