Tonner Marley Wentworth Chic City Lights

A wonderful ending to this difficult 2020! My adult Marley has come to me. I got the doll nude, without shoes, jewelry, or a stand, but in the original box. She has molded Tyler, gray drawn-on eyes, a direct gaze, glued-on eyelashes, and a glued-on wig of thick, wavy black hair. The 2018 doll was released in an edition of 250. The original outfit is a bright pink evening chiffon dress with a matching satin belt and a vintage brooch with stones, large earrings in the style of the brooch, flesh-toned fishnet stockings, and pink leather sandals.

Annas postcards

Today Anya finished the diamond mosaic postcards for our relatives in Lviv; we’ll send them in a package.

Christmas tree pendants

The diamond mosaic kit yielded 10 Christmas tree pendants, some of which will be given as gifts in Lviv.

New Year’s card stand

From an old mirror frame and a garland, I made a stand for congratulatory New Year’s cards that we received this year from friends and neighbors.

Greeting cards

This year, I made Christmas cards using 3D techniques with a Cricut.

New Year’s school decorations

Due to the lockdown, the school had to close three days early, so today we already took all the Christmas decorations back to the attic without the children. And instead, we left a winter forest and a bear playing on a white grand piano on the podium. Beautiful and unusually instructive.

A Bull for Marina

I finished the gift for my colleague today; it’s a symbol of the next year—a bull, as described on the internet. It turned out to be cute and soft. And I hung a bell around his neck.

Props for a Christmas movie

This year, the school decided to film a movie instead of putting on a Christmas play. I helped prepare the props for it and dressed the actors. I made this donkey for Maria out of a shoe box and a bicycle.

My new Tonner doll is Magnificent at Midnight Charlotte.

For St. Nicholas Day, Rostik bought me a very beautiful doll – Charlotte from 2006, dedicated to the London Fashion Doll Festival. Only 50 dolls were produced! I’ve never seen anything like it. The girl is gorgeous – in a luxurious black evening dress, beautiful black sandals, and black earrings and bracelet. The doll has beautiful evening makeup and thick black hair styled in tight curls.

My new dolls

My Sinterklaas gifts have arrived. This is a gorgeous DC Wonder Woman Diana Prince & hiddensword, a dark-skinned, voluptuous beauty Barbie BMR1959, and Professor Minerva McGonagall from the Harry Potter series. I didn’t even expect them to come so early, and I’m so, so happy!
