Anna’s school project “The Mask”

Anna’s project deadline is approaching. She designed a mask in the shape of a palm tree. Under my guidance, she made a papier-mâché base, painted it, and covered it with crepe-paper. With the Cricut, I cut out the top parts of the crown and the eye patch of the mask. Anya decorated them all with patterns, covered them with quilling, rhinestones, and sequins. And I helped to solidify all of this on a foundation. It turned out beautifully, and I hope the grade will be high.

School decoration in a spring style.

Despite the quarantine, I was asked to help decorate Masha’s school. I decorated the podium and all three school entrances with spring paper cutouts and three-dimensional paper flowers.

Pandas as a gift for Mariya’s teacher.

Tomorrow is the birthday of Masha’s teacher. She is turning 22! Since she loves pandas very much, Masha and I prepared a gift for her with a panda theme. Masha drew a picture of a panda. And I crocheted a little panda keychain.

Smesharik Hedgehog

Inspired by the cartoon “Smeshariki,” I crocheted my second Smesharik, Hedgehog, using a pattern from the internet.

Winter Puzzle

Together with Rostik, we finally finished assembling the puzzle that had been lying under the bed for over a year. When it was folded, we decided to keep it in a frame and hang it as a New Year’s decoration in winter.

My Kusudamas

I’m slowly making kusudamas to decorate the school for spring this year.

Diamond mosaic from Mariya

During the quarantine, Mashunya made several diamond mosaic sticker pictures, as well as a large butterfly painting on a black background, out of boredom.

A postcard for the neighbor.

Today is our neighbor Ton’s birthday. I made him a postcard with an origami dove based on an online master class. I liked it, and Rostik said the card looks more like a dog.

Rowan tree made of beads

Finished decorating another one of my long-term projects – a rowan tree made of beads. I assembled the tree a long time ago, even cast it in plaster, but I only got around to painting and decorating the park clearing today. Under the tree, I placed a bench for two. A cat is sleeping on the bench, and a little dog, resembling a fluffy dachshund, is running down the brick path.

The child Grogu

At the request of Masha, a big fan of The Mandalorian series, I crocheted a Grogu doll. The description was found online. Crocheted with thick yarn, using a crochet hook size 8. It was a bit challenging, but I’m happy with the result, and so is the client.
