As a birthday gift for Mom, I embroidered a card with a kitten.
Here we are on holiday! It’s so great to finally get away to warmer place! And in the very first supermarket, I ran into Evie in a winter outfit.
Funny thing is, it cost half as much as identical Evies, but in summer clothes. Apparently, a seasonal discount. I certainly couldn’t resist the doll for such a funny price. We named her Polina.
And the second girl is quite an unusual personage. It was sold in a tube box, with no name or manufacturer written on it. But she looks very much like Sonya, just smaller in stature and even more graceful. I named her Dinka because of her curly hair.
We’re getting ready to go on a trip – I’m going with my daughter to relax at our parents’ place by the sea. The train ride is 28 hours, I need to occupy the child with a new toy. Therefore, today I bought two little Evies. A brunette in an autumn raincoat with an umbrella and a dog. We named her Sandra.
And the second is a little girl with pigtails on a wonderful pink bicycle, with articulated legs, a helmet, and a water bottle. She responds to the name Santa. It’s a pity that all the faces of the Evies are drawn exactly the same.
Today I decided to run around the children’s stores looking for something interesting for my doll residents. And found two cute guys at reasonable prices. The first one is Barbie California girl Tropical beach. Very beautiful face and figure. She can even stand up on her own. Now we need to figure out what to put on this slipper, because no standard-sized shoe will fit her large feet. We named the beauty Caroline.
And the second copy is the “Will you marry me?” Ken doll. The Barbie from this series is very expensive, and this Ken cost even less compared to other Kens. He has a handsome face and a decent hairstyle.
The suit looks decent on the outside, but the pants are sewn to the shirt like a jumpsuit, and the shirt is sleeveless under the jacket. That’s how the manufacturers slacked off. But still, I really like him, and his name is Rostislav.
Anechka is having a birthday today! Here are some of her gifts that would be suitable for a collection. Mini groom and bride Felix and Karen, and we have Seryozha and Svetochka.
The Disney fairy Tinker Bell – we just call her Bellochka, Anya chose her in the store herself, and she turned out to be very expensive, for no apparent reason. Doll fish from the Zodiac series – Goldie.
And a wonderful gift from the godmother – a treehouse with a bunch of accessories, a cat, a dog, and a bird, as well as two girls from Simba Toys – we named them Tanya and Valya. Anyutka is delighted with the gifts and with the holiday. Now she asks every day when the birthday will be 🙂
My daughter’s birthday is approaching, but it’s my celebration too. Therefore, I couldn’t resist and bought myself a gift – Prince Derek from the 12 Dancing Princesses series.
Funny thing is, I don’t have a single princess from this series, but I have a prince – gladly! He’s a very handsome and noble man, a brunette with meticulously styled hair, but the main thing is – he’s flexible! And a whole shoe store came with it – 12 pairs of women’s shoes and pointe shoes in various colors. I named the boy Pierre. It’s immediately noticeable that he is fond of FR Veronika. I hope she reciprocates his feelings.
Mom and Dad arrived and, in anticipation of their granddaughter’s birthday, brought our first Barbie family from their home. Our most beloved and cherished Barbie from the Happy Holidays series 1991.
And here’s another gift – Jinnie. Dad brought this original girl back from Singapore.
I just ordered a Jenny from Takara, but the names were similar, so instead of one doll, I received another. It was sold with a bunch of stationery and clips. One of the pros of this doll is the embroidered eyelashes. We named her Jillian.
Hooray! My first experience buying from eBay was a success! They’re here! It’s amazing that I bought the dolls on different days, even in different states, but they arrived on the same day, slightly late for my birthday. (more…)
On this special day, I bought myself a gift with a completely clear conscience – Fashion Fewer Ken. He has a pleasant face and a cool outfit, just his hairstyle is a little wild.
Honestly, I’m not a big fan of blondes, but since there’s a shortage of men in my little world, the girls are happy with any representative of the opposite sex. So, Milа, the articulate beauty, immediately “booked” Stas. Basically, they are a good match for each other.
And as a companion, an unusual anime-style teenage girl tagged along with me. There was no name on the box, the production, of course, was in China. It was sold with an extra set of clothes on the mannequin and a funny rubber frog in the crown and on a gold chain. Due to her distinctive hair color, the girl received the name Violetta.
