Mariya’s gifts

Masha received the long-awaited Disney princesses for her birthday – Anna, a poseable Rapunzel, Aurora, Cinderella, and a fake Elsa. And for myself, I bought the China Princess from the Dolls of the World series and the Barbie Princess Tea Party.

Ribbon bracelets

We braided friendship bracelets for Anya out of ribbons, following the instructions from the braiding kit.

Miauslav

I crocheted a character from her book – the artist cat Miauslav – as a gift for my writer friend Galya Rys.

Paper ball with a rose

For Grandma Natasha’s birthday, we made a paper kusudama with a rose.

Furniture set

Bought a Barbie house fragment today – a student room. We’ll give her to Skipper’s room. There’s a bed here, and a desk with a computer, and a vanity table with a stool.

Little Red Riding Hood’s Daughter

Today I bought a new Ever After High Cerise Wood doll. In theory, she is the daughter of Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf. A strange continuation of the fairy tale, but the doll is very cute.

Sleepy bunny

I crocheted an amigurumi bunny for Anechka, and now it sleeps with her in bed.

Elephant

I crocheted an amigurumi elephant following instructions from the internet. I put wire in his ears, and he holds a little bell with his trunk.

Barbie Sydney Opera House

Today I bought a beautiful collectible Barbie Sydney Opera House doll in a lovely outfit styled after the famous building.

Beach set for a doll

While we’re in the hospital, I crocheted a newborn set—a little swimsuit and hat, as if he’s going on vacation to the sea.
