New Year’s handmade

I made decorations for Masha’s class – Christmas ornaments and snowflakes from toilet paper rolls. I also have photos of the Christmas tree lamp and the tabletop arrangement.

Shopping at the Christmas market.

Let’s go to the Christmas fair today. Unexpectedly found a packaged vintage Skipper Hollywood doll with long hair and hair-dye spray. And also a sealed Lisa consultant doll from Avon Cosmetics. We also bought a cute tea set and a luxurious bathtub (for a bottle of champagne).

Advent calendar

I prepared a countdown calendar for the girls leading up to Christmas. I used blanks from Top Models magazine as a basis.

Christmas and New Year’s cards

I’ve been captivated by the topic of greeting cards. In anticipation of the holidays, I tried making different versions of Dutch New Year’s and Christmas cards.

Candlesticks for a themed dinner

Soon, Anna will have a celebratory dinner at school that her class is preparing for all the school teachers. The children must prepare and arrange everything themselves. The main topic of the dinner will be the Dance4life project, aimed at combating sexual violence in Indonesia. And here I made them a couple of candle holders to decorate the tables with paper cutouts of this organization’s logo.

Beaded earrings again.

Continuing charitable beading. Today I finished making snowflake earrings and various little stars. And Anya finished making more friendship bracelets to sell.

Stage decoration

Participated in decorating the stage at the Mariyas School for the Sinterklaas celebration. I and another mom were painting the backdrop. It turned out beautifully! We received a lot of praise, and that’s nice!

New Year’s origami

For the charity fair at Anya’s school, I made various New Year’s origami stars. Let’s see how much we can sell…

Anna’s friendship bracelets

Today I asked Anya to photograph her work. After all, she’s already beaded a bunch of little things and different friendship bracelets, but these works aren’t on the website yet.

Gifts from Spain

Dear husband returned from a business trip to Spain! And of course, we had to stop by the Disney store. There he bought us two new Mulan and Tiana Princesses. Princesses with articulated arms and rubberized legs. Mulan was accompanied by a little dragon named Mushu, and Tiana had a beautiful greenish stone ring, but it got lost during unpacking. And at the FC Barcelona official store, my husband bought us a doll of the club’s greatest all-time top scorer – Lionel Messi. The man is very charismatic, but somewhat lacking in mobility for a footballer; only his neck, waist, feet, and wrists move.
