Today Rostik received handmade gifts from people he is dear to. From me—a юбилейный cake, from Anya—a bookmark with a heartfelt message, and from Masha—a painted personalized mug.

Today I worked on decorating the school entrances with a winter theme. And in the hall, she hung snowflakes made with quilling from toilet paper rolls.

I went to a second-hand store today and found a cute Barbie and a mini Disney Animator’s Little Mermaid. I still couldn’t identify the Barbie; I only found one low-quality promotional photo online, and it’s likely some early Barbie Fashions.

Finally received my last Christmas presents – they are Belatrix Lestrange and Cho Chang.

Today I tried out my second gift – an Addi Express knitting machine. In two hours, just by turning a knob, I got such a beautiful set for Mashunya, to match her jacket.

Today my New Year’s gift arrived—Sirius Black Wizarding World Mattel. He’s a handsome man, well-rendered and looks like the original from the movie.

For New Year’s celebration, I baked these Christmas tree-shaped cakes and a syrniki (cheese pancakes) decorated with snowmen.

I quickly made a candy Christmas tree, and then I looked at it closer and realized it turned out in patriotic colors.

The end of the year was so hectic that I only finally decorated the Christmas tree on Christmas Day. There’s really no festive mood, but maybe the Christmas spirit will come to us after all.

Today is the last school day before the holidays, and our children had a festive breakfast where classmates were supposed to prepare food for each other based on the lottery results. Here’s what Masha and I prepared for Sky. Also today I was supposed to take down all the Christmas decorations, and with the help of three moms, we managed! So the podium now looks like this. And for my teacher colleagues, I prepared sweet Christmas sleighs. Everyone truly enjoyed it.
