Our Christmas tree.

This year I decorated the Christmas tree at home early. We specifically bought a new, large artificial Christmas tree with realistic needles. It turned out to be gorgeous. And we also used many garlands to decorate our yards. Let’s at least lift our Christmas spirits this way, since we can’t go to Ukraine and celebrate with our whole big family.

Bazooka with a surprise

For Masha’s classmate, who really loves the game Fortnite, we made a surprise gift in the form of a bazooka for Sinterklaas Day. Inside is a gift he ordered, and the weapon is equipped with a glowing sight. I think the little boy will be delighted with the gift!

Handsome bull

I crocheted a symbol of the upcoming year based on a description from the internet. It turned out to be quite large, very soft, and with a squeaker inside.

Preparing for St. Nicholas Day

For the school holiday, we decorated the podium to look like Sinterklaas room. This year, the Pits must be white, so we had to repaint and reupholster our Black Pits. I liked the result. The children, teachers, and Sinterklaas were pleased.

New Lori Dolls

Today at TK Maxx, as always, I stumbled upon new Lori dolls. I bought two little ones—Ensley and Aurie. They are very sweet and happily joined their friends.

Barbie Fashionistas 146

I bought an African-American Barbie Fashionistas 146 with a prosthesis today. She is very sweet and pretty; she has beautiful hair and chocolate brown skin. I was a little disappointed that it wasn’t very mobile. Because the other doll with a knee prosthesis could bend it, but this one couldn’t.

Cosmetic bag

I finished this cosmetic bag today, following the master class on the new two-tone pattern from the “Krea Doe” exhibition. It zips up.

Mariya’s notebook with a toucan

Mariya assembled a tropical picture from diamond mosaic on her new notebook today.

School decoration in an autumn theme.

It’s time to change the school decorations to an autumn theme. I made a lot of paper cutouts and autumn paper cuttings on Cricut. On the podium, I created an autumn landscape, and above the tables in the hall, I hung paper-cut decorations and a garland of leaves, apples, and pumpkins.

Decorating for Children’s Book Week at the school.

This year’s Children’s Book Week at Mariya’s School is dedicated to the past. And I was asked to decorate the entrance to two classes as a medieval castle, and on the stage I tried to decorate the class in the style of an old Dutch school. I liked the result, the children and teachers did too.
