Winter backdrop for the stage

Having removed all the New Year decorations, we saw that the stage needed to be decorated with something new. Therefore, I made this paper appliqué in the style of vytynanka on the theme of “winter forest.” And on the opposite side of the hall, I made a landscape of the Arctic with some animals from Antarctica. It turned out beautifully!

Anna’s velvet coloring books

Anna painted two pictures that she received as a gift for New Year’s. These are coloring books, one with dolphins and the other with a Christmas tree.

Tonner Seventeen

On my husband’s birthday, my Tonner doll “Seventeen in Her 1940s Prom Gown,” released in 2003 in a limited edition of 1000 pieces, arrived. She was exclusively made by Ashton-Drake Galleries and artist Robert Tonner.

The doll arrived nude, without shoes, only with a stand. But I easily found her promo photo, the outfit was gorgeous! Maybe someday I’ll do something like that to her. She has a very pleasant face, minimal makeup, brown eyes, a direct gaze, and a first-generation body. The hair is brown, gathered in a braid at the back of the head.

Skipper Nanny

Today at Intertoys I bought a cute Skipper nanny, an Asian girl with a pretty face and nice hair. It came with several baby care accessories.

The Giraffe Family

My friend Nune ordered a gift with a giraffe theme for her pregnant friend’s baby. I crocheted my first musical giraffe with a heart on its chest using a pattern from the internet. I only put wooden beads in the paws and horns. I crocheted the soft giraffe comforter with a rattle in its head and a chew toy for the baby giraffe myself. Only one little giraffe girl with a squeaker left to crochet, and then it will be a complete set.

Mariya’s new L.O.L. dolls and Hairdorables toys.

After the New Year holidays, Masha got new L.O.L. dolls with real hair and glitter, as well as three new Hairdorables with sewn-in hair.

Gifts for teachers

For Anya’s and Masha’s teachers, sweet Christmas gifts were prepared in the form of candy Christmas trees and chocolate sleighs.

Christmas cards

Traditionally, you should congratulate your neighbors and friends on Christmas. Here are the postcards I made, this year using paper embroidery techniques.

New Year’s Mouse

I finished another Father Frost mouse according to a pattern from the internet as a New Year’s gift for my dad.

Christmas sweater DIY

At Masha’s school, they organized a workshop for the children to decorate Christmas sweaters in preparation for Christmas. In the end, each child had a unique outfit made by their hands. I also helped the children a little with this difficult creative work. Here’s what Masha came up with.
