Kusudamas for Rostik

It triggered a craving for kusudamas in the Netherlands. There’s a certain creative vibe here! Made two pieces for the decor of the Harlem apartment.

Loom bracelets

Bracelets were woven from rubber bands, following tutorials from the internet.

Dad’s birthday

As a gift, I made him a star kusudama, and the girls made a peacock painting out of sequins.

Crochet chick

Today I crocheted a simple little chick using Yarn Art Jeans yarn. I filled it with grain, so it rustles pleasantly in my hands.

Beads flowers

I braided three snowdrops and two violas from beads today.

Bag for Masha

From a basket of wickerwork, I braided a cheerful little purse for Mashunya. She likes it.

Spring decor

For the Spring holiday at Anya’s school, I made various paper flowers and a rainbow kusudama. Dandelions were especially liked by everyone.

Fish for Miroslava

For my friend’s birthday, I crocheted a pair of fish.

Lila Kusudama

Me and Luba haven’t broken any heads yet while figuring out this kusudama. It turned out a bit angular, but cool.

Brooch “Flower Basket”

I made a pretty “Basket of Flowers” brooch today using large beads, following the instructions from a Komilfo kit.
