Snapstar Izzy

I bought a Snapstar doll today—a curly mulatto named Izzi. The doll is short, articulated, and has a wig with insertable eyes. The outfit was well-made and came with a stand, a bag, and a phone, as well as a green backdrop for shooting.

Tuesday’s child Sylvie

Here’s my wonderful Valentine’s Day gift from my beloved husband—it’s little Sylvie Tuesday’s child. I found her at the same doll and miniature exhibition. This is my first vinyl doll by Diana Effner in collaboration with Boneka Tradition. This doll was released in only two copies. Her height is 26 cm, her skin is slightly grayish, her eyes are gray-blue, and her arms and legs spread out to the sides. It’s a wig, the hair is soft blonde, the hairstyle is a bob with bangs. Dressed in a white calico romper with buttons on the back and lace at the hem, white socks, and beige shoes with a strap closure. The little one is simply wonderful! I’ll call her Mariya, because she looks very much like my Masha.

Purchases at the doll miniature exhibition.

Today we went to the largest dollhouse miniature exhibition in the Netherlands. I’m thrilled! So much beauty, inspiration, and new ideas that you don’t even know where to start! But first, I’ll write down what I bought—some sewing and knitting supplies for miniatures, four sharpening statues for my collection, three baby dolls, two toy teddy bears, and a stroller for two babies.

Beadwork painting “Butterfly with Rose”

Finished embroidering a picture of a “Butterfly with a Rose” with ribbons and beads from a Danko Toys embroidery kit today. Managed to finish by Valentine’s Day.

Gift for a newborn

She started finalizing the gift for the newborn. To pack the family of giraffes, they needed something to sit them on. And here I made my first cake out of a pack of diapers as a base for the composition. And Anya and Rostik also helped me come up with a logo for my crafts.

Luxurious Scarlett

Today I picked up my beautiful 16” Tonner Gone with the Wind Scarlett O’Hara Vivien Leigh “My Tara” doll from 2012, limited to 350 pieces, at the post office. She has a 16-inch body with articulated wrists, Tyler’s skin tone, dark chestnut hair, and large curls firmly set with hairspray. The dolls from this mold have beautifully drawn green eyes, a direct gaze, and the famous raised right eyebrow.

Scarlett came to me nude, but with a stand. Her original outfit was an olive-green dress and a straw hat. But I dressed her in a “Barbecue at 12 Oaks” dress, which looked wonderful on her. I’m so happy that another long-standing wish of mine has come true, although the shipping from the States and the tax cost almost as much as the doll itself. Now I will try to choose dolls from Europe.

Anna’s painting after Van Gogh.

At school, during the drawing lesson, Anya had to create a painting based on any of Van Gogh’s works. Today she finished it and even made a little stop-motion with a ladybug. Получилось очень красиво, я лишь чуточку подправила мазки в конце. I’m proud of my artist!

Soon it will be Valentine’s Day.

At school, I finished decorating the hall for the upcoming holiday—Valentine’s Day. I made paper-cut decorations, garlands of two-toned braided hearts, and hung the hearts on two artificial trees in pots.

Baby Giraffe

Finally finished the last member of the giraffe family—a little giraffe girl. I got the description from the internet, but I modified the head myself. It turned out very splendidly! Inside the tummy is a squeaker, so this little one can squeak happily.

Dress and jewelry for Seventeen.

Crocheted a new dress for Seventeen in a couple of days. Red suits her very well. And also came up with a set of jewelry consisting of beaded earrings and a necklace.
