Ariel got a new outfit today. I knitted her a “Pumpkin” masquerade costume based on a description I found online.

Today, in honor of Valentine’s Day, Anya and I bought two unusual dolls while taking a walk. The first is a regular Chinese Polinka, but instead of legs, it has a plastic tail. And the second is a little girl with an unusually large head, but she’s quite cute and came with a pink pony. (more…)

Happy Family grandma

Hooray! Today, Barbie’s grandma from the Happy Family series arrived right for the Epiphany. I had been waiting for the package for quite a while; I ordered it even before the New Year, but it was coming from California, and the people there are a bit peculiar, so just the fact that the doll made it from there is already a big achievement!
