Today my New Year’s gift arrived—Sirius Black Wizarding World Mattel. He’s a handsome man, well-rendered and looks like the original from the movie.
For New Year’s celebration, I baked these Christmas tree-shaped cakes and a syrniki (cheese pancakes) decorated with snowmen.
I quickly made a candy Christmas tree, and then I looked at it closer and realized it turned out in patriotic colors.
The end of the year was so hectic that I only finally decorated the Christmas tree on Christmas Day. There’s really no festive mood, but maybe the Christmas spirit will come to us after all.
Today is the last school day before the holidays, and our children had a festive breakfast where classmates were supposed to prepare food for each other based on the lottery results.
