Little City doll

Today, Saint Nicholas brought Anechka a cool doll with sad eyes under her pillow; we named her Cynthia. She looks older and more serious than she is, but I think she’ll fit in with the rest of the little ones.

My St. Nicholas Day gifts.

Today my dear little sister congratulated me in advance on St. Nicholas Day. She gave me a rock-style Barbie, which my daughter named Heidi, and a very cute and unusual Teresa from the “Fashion Fever” series, which we both named Solya (Solomiya). And also in a thrift store she found and bought me a cute old Barbie, but in disrepair. But at home I washed her, styled her hair, and she turned out to be Monica.

Integrity Toys Basic edition Sleek doll

Hooray! My last eBay purchase finally arrived! I’ve been waiting for it almost a month and was very worried that the package might get lost before the holidays. But here it is – the Integrity Toys Basic edition Sleek doll from 2009. (more…)

Belle from Beauty and the Beast

I found a doll for Anya – Belle, the princess from her favorite fairy tale. She’s Chinese, of course, but with a very interesting face, and we got her at a great discount because of a dented box. We kept her original name.

Family with a nursery

Before St. Nicholas Day, toy deliveries started to toy stores, and Anya and I stumbled upon a lovely dollhouse with a whole family of doll residents. We named the mother Laima, the curly-haired boy Ilyushenka, the brunette girl Zhanna, and the furry little one Erika.

Little girl with a tricycle.

Today I bought this little one for 5 hryvnias with a bicycle, mostly, of course, because of the bicycle. The girl herself isn’t very good quality, especially the arms and legs. I named her Tina.

Cozy white sweater

Today I crochetted a warm sweater-tunic for Barbie. I found the description online.

Eltin Dynamite doll

Hooray! My first Dynamite doll from the new Eltin Boogie beach collection arrived from eBay. My husband and I chose it right away, especially since I’m generally fond of reddish colors. (more…)

Igorek and Bonnie

We found another nice little toy store in the neighborhood. We bought relatively inexpensive dolls, an Aliee doll from an unknown company and a Beach fun baby from Baby World. We got the little girl with a crib mainly because of the crib and also because of the short haircut. So, despite the wardrobe, this girl will be a boy for us, because we really lack boys. Welcome, Igorek! And we named the second girl Bonnie, she’s in a funny swimsuit, with a shirt to protect from sun and wind, and a flying saucer to play with at the beach.

The funny trio – Faith, Hope, and Love.

Today I bought Anya some funny little figures – Karen with her bridal party. Moreover, we already have the bride and groom from this series. I don’t think any other names besides Faith, Hope, and Love are suitable for them.
