The end of the year was so hectic that I only finally decorated the Christmas tree on Christmas Day. There’s really no festive mood, but maybe the Christmas spirit will come to us after all.

Today is the last school day before the holidays, and our children had a festive breakfast where classmates were supposed to prepare food for each other based on the lottery results. Here’s what Masha and I prepared for Sky. Also today I was supposed to take down all the Christmas decorations, and with the help of three moms, we managed! So the podium now looks like this. And for my teacher colleagues, I prepared sweet Christmas sleighs. Everyone truly enjoyed it.
This year I haven’t made many cards, but I did make one today.
As a gift to a classmate undergoing leukemia treatment, I put together a comprehensive gift—a crocheted hat and scarf, a Christmas tree made of candies, and a pendant made of wooden beads.
Here’s what our school looks like this year, which a few parents and I managed to decorate in half a day.
Today I bought my first simple LOL doll. She’s not articulated and barefoot, but a very cute redhead.
Made an origami pencil holder as a surprise gift for Sinterklaas from Masha to her classmate Mishella. Since the girl loves field hockey, we arranged a surprise in the form of illuminated hockey goals.
Lately, I just don’t feel like doing crafts at all. But then I saw a pattern online and decided to crochet a little angel.
Here is the rainbow bracelet I braided from a bead set.
I continue to expand my collection of Harry Potter dolls from Mattel. New characters arrived today—articulated Cedric Diggory and Draco Malfoy.
